Sounds of Christmas Concert
Wednesday, December 2 at 4:00 p.m.
Some of Desert Palms’ smaller groups, including the Choral Ensemble, Voices In Praise men’s ensemble, Faith Journey women’s ensemble, the Handbell Choir, and the Piano Quartet will perform “The Sounds of Christmas.” The program will be under the direction of Wendy Fentiman, Director of Music Ministries; with Judy Penick, accompanist. It will also include Sheryl Campbell, flute; John Clark, bass; Roberta Fogel, percussion; Dan Reed, trumpet and flugelhorn; Roberta Sambol,
gathering music; Ed Zacko, drums; and Ellen Zacko, violin.
You will hear a variety of sacred, secular, familiar, and new Christmas music. There will be something for everyone, and maybe a few surprises!
There will be a free-will offering for this very popular concert.

“Drift” and “Anchored” are two words that describe King Solomon’s life. Come learn what anchored Solomon and what caused him to drift from the Lord. Our Biblical Bible Study of the life and writings of Solomon will meet here at Desert Palms on Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., through mid-April.
