Living the Lessons will resume in the Fall on Mondays at 2:00 p.m. in Room A

View a video from one of The Great Courses followed by a discussion. The Great Courses have presentations from college professors and other experts on many subjects. This class reviews subjects related to the bible and biblical times. Most subjects have about 25 to 35 lectures. Two 30 minute lectures are viewed and

discussed each session.

How the Bible Reached Us with Professor Gary A. Rendsburg - June 1 to 4 - 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

We walk into church or synagogue, and we take it for granted that the Bible is in our hands, with abundant copies in the pews and in the bookcases. But how did the Bible reach us? This wide-ranging series explores the history of the Bible, transmitted by devoted scribes throughout antiquity and the Middle Ages, up to the age of printing. How did all this happen, when did all this happen, and why did all this happen? Or to repeat the question above, how did the Bible reach us?

Professor Gary A. Rendsburg serves as the Blanche and Irving Laurie Chair in Jewish History and holds the rank of Distinguished Professor in the Department of Jewish Studies at Rutgers University.

Dinner will be served each evening.

Celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States in style , as we prepare for the 4th of July with a patriotic concert featuring Dan Reed, We3, and Janet Daniel. Special highlights include Dan's signature rendition of "God Bless the U.S.A," along with Renee Patrick's heartfelt vocals on "America the Beautiful" and "This Land is Your Land."

Hudson Harmony Band is a gifted family music group known for sharing faith, joy, and encouragement through uplifting gospel music. Since 2013, they have blessed audiences with rich family harmonies, heartfelt vocals, and outstanding musicianship. Each member plays multiple instruments, creating a dynamic sound that blends gospel, bluegrass, hymns, and inspirational favorites. Adding their own unique twist, the band incorporates lively yodeling into their style, making each performance both distinctive and memorable. Their energetic performances and genuine love for ministry make every event a special experience. Hudson Harmony Band's mission is to honor God and encourage others through the power of music.

Cardio Drumming

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall

Cardio Drumming combines cardio exercise to the rhythm of the music in an easy yet effective workout. It is a fun, fast-paced way to get your heart rate up, strengthen muscles, and burn a ton of calories. Admission to Cardio Drumming classes is by donation and open to both church members and the community.

Equipment needed: exercise ball, bucket (large enough to hold the exercise ball), and drumsticks (available for purchase).

Fitness Fun

A fabulous exercise class that includes stretching, cardiovascular, strength training and balance. Admission to Fitness Fun classes is by donation and open to both church members and the community.

Caregiver Support Group

Caregiving is a blessing and a burden. If you are caring for others in your home, at a facility, a neighbor, or a loved one that lives far away, please join our Caregiver Support Group. This group is a warm and caring time where you can share your story, find new ideas and resources, and be cared for. We meet every month in person.
