Northwest Valley Connect

Northwest Valley Connect (NVC) is honored to be featured as the DPPC Mission for the month of March.

Public transit is very limited in the west valley, and NVC was created to use volunteers to provide rides for seniors, veterans and persons with disabilities. In 2019, we provided nearly 17,000 rides! We take folks to medical appointments, shopping, to the beauty/barber shop, to church and other social occasions.

We are working with DPPC Nurse Mary to offer rides to the low vision group. We also provide group trips to the mall, baseball games, movies and more.

People who want to ride with us can create an account online at or by contacting our call center at 623-282-9300.  We ask those requesting rides to give us a week’s notice so we have time to match with a volunteer driver. Sometimes we are not able to meet a ride request because we do not have enough drivers.

Our organization has two paid staff: an executive director and a dispatcher. NVC is professionally managed, using a trained dispatcher and transportation software to ensure efficiency of operations and trips. We provide rides by using volunteers and can use your help as a driver, working in the office or call center, or serving on one of our committees. You can drive your own vehicle or use one of our wheel-chair accessible vans to make a difference in the lives of others through volunteering your valuable time.

As a nonprofit, NVC relies heavily on grant funding and tax-deductible donations. We welcome your donations as we do not charge for rides. We are a 501C-3 nonprofit and qualify for the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit.  Contact NVC at 623-282-9300. We also accept vehicle donations to support our mission. For more vehicle donation information, call 844-887-4337.
