Meals of Joy Ministry
On-going Volunteers

Caring for DPPC members and the community is part of our call and mission. A challenge for many in our faith community is having access to nutritious meals during health or life challenges.

When these life challenges occur, making time for meal preparation all but disappears for those involved. As a faith community, we can tangibly give care to our community members journeying through these transitional seasons in a simple and yet profound way: through the gift of a meal.

To do this, we need ongoing volunteers who are willing to commit to bringing a meal to such individuals/families in our community. Meal volunteers will deliver (with their own transportation) meals prepared by our partner Meals of Joy to recipients’ homes.

Interested in Volunteering for Meals of Joy? Join us for Orientation on Monday, March 9 at 9 a.m. in Room A.

Our group delivers on Wednesdays and Fridays.
