Presbyterian Women Luncheon and Guest Speaker
Annual Mission Luncheon speaker: Gail Howard Gibson speaking about "Blessings and Obstacles". Tuesday, January 22.

PW Gail Gibson

Presbyterian Women Luncheon and Guest Speaker
“Blessings and Obstacles”

We invite you to pull up a chair and listen while quilter, Gail Howard Gibson, shares her unique journey as a wife, mother, daughter and caregiver.

While caring for her mother and dealing with a cross country move, she discovered that the creation of a quilt, based on the 2009-2010 Presbyterian Women’s Bible Study, “Joshua, A Journey of Faith,” gave her strength and brought new insights into how to find God’s blessings in spite of obstacles. The Joshua Quilt© is Gail’s unique interpretation of the study as well as a symbolic use of fabric and color to represent the journey of the Israelites. Gail’s first book, God’s Gift Within: The Story of the Joshua Quilt, documents the symbolism of the quilt as well as her journey.

Join us for our Annual Mission Luncheon on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at noon in the Fellowship Hall of Desert Palms Presbyterian Church.
