Angel Bees for Women AND Men!
New Quilting Group

“He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.”  Ephesians 4:16 (NLT)

The Angel Bees Quilting Group

Do we fit in??

When I start working on a quilt, I put all of my selected fabric together and I’m so excited about my vision for the project that I show it to Ziggy, confident that she’ll be equally excited.  It never happens that way – instead, she says to me ‘you’re going to put THAT together with THAT?’ or ‘all of that, in the same quilt??’  Nothing like bursting my bubble!  However, when I finish, she always says something like ‘wow, it really did all go together!’  It all fits together in the end!

When you are new to some place, how do you know if you fit in?  DPPC is still (relatively) new to us and we’ve been working on getting involved.  We’re getting to know more people, as they are also getting to know us. We now know how to get around the building and we’re learning some of the “ins and outs” of the church!  Does it feel like a fit to us?  Yep, it sure does!  It now feels like home to us and that we have our church family. From what people tell us, we feel like they are happy we are here!  God knew where we belonged!

Is the Angel Bees Quilting group fitting in at DPPC?  Come see for yourself!

We had our second quilting day in the Fellowship Hall.  It was great fun and we’re really starting to bond together as a group!  We have our 3rd quilting day scheduled for March 16 from 9:00 a.m. until about 2:00 p.m.  Know how to sew a straight line? Think about joining us!  Sign up at our booth or reach out to Charlene Weir for more information.

We’re open to any group or location where our quilts might be of benefit.  Do you know a place, or have a relationship?  Reach out to us and let’s see what we can do!
