Remembering the Sixties!

SUMMER CELEBRATION

About 150 people attended Summer Celebration June 7-10 this year. The episodes of the Dick Van Dyke Show were well received followed by discussion led by Pastor Stan Burtless. As usual the Kitchen Angels provided wonderful meals. Participants also enjoyed timeline and trivia games, and memorable words and music of the 60’s. 

A special treat was the gallery of photos of ourselves in the 60’s. Our final evening brought not only our regular fun songs, but music performed by members of our choir.

Our mission offering yielded over $4,675! Desert Palms Scholarship Fund $2,260 and Agua Fria Food Bank’s school uniform program $2,415.
