FRED BERKENKAMP TO BE HONORED

Fred Berkenkamp was selected as Desert Palms’ nominee to receive the 26th annual Senior Service Award, sponsored by the Older Adult Concerns and Celebration Committee of Grand Canyon Presbytery. He will be honored and presented a certificate of appreciation at a luncheon on Thursday, April 29, at the Valley Presbyterian Church in Paradise Valley. In the community, Fred has been president of the Habitat for Humanity of the West Valley, president of the Engineers’ Club of the West Valley, director of PORA, president of the Community Fund of Sun City West, been on the board of the Rotary Club of Sun City West, and president of the West Valley Symphony.
