CALLING ALL GOLFERS…
Are you ready for some fun? The Desert Palms’ Sixth Annual Golf Mixer is the place to be on Saturday afternoon, March 13, at Echo Mesa Golf Course. This will be an 18 Hole Best Ball Event which will accommodate EVERYONE regardless of individual ability levels.
Depending upon how many golfers sign up, tee times will begin early afternoon. Teams will be formed to encourage fellowship and sociability. Following the glorious afternoon of golf, a simple brown bag Picnic and Awards Presentation will complete the fun experience. All of this (and more) is offered for the amazingly reasonable price of only $8 per person. (This does NOT include golf fees or beverages available at the course.) If your better half does not play golf, they are invited to join us later in the afternoon for the 19th Hole festivities. (Guest fee is a mere $6 … how’s that for fighting inflation?) Entry forms will be available on Sunday mornings, February 21 and 28 at the Ladies’ Golf Table during Coffee Hour in Fellowship Hall. We need a week’s advance notice to form teams and schedule tee times, so the entry deadline is Thursday, March 4. Tee times and further details can be obtained on Sunday morning, March 7 at the Golf Table. Questions may be directed to Marilyn Hirtle or Marilyn Petchauer .
So turn in your entry form, polish up those dusty clubs, grab your sun visor, gas up the cart, and hurry on over to Echo Mesa Golf Course. This is always a fun event!
