The Gospel According to Matthew

The Rev. Linda Bailey will be offering a three-week Bible Study Series on The Gospel According to Matthew, at Grandview Terrace at 3 p.m., on August 9, 16 and 23. Matthew shows how Jesus, in encounter after encounter, demonstrates what it means to be doers of the word. This study focuses on how Jesus interprets righteousness based on unconditional love in his encounters with a variety of people.

August 9: The Disciples Encounter Jesus

August 16: Outsiders Encounter Jesus

August 23: Encountering Jesus Through His Acts of Compassion

Bible Study

A four-week Bible study will begin Monday, September 13 at Grandview Terrace. Come join us as we consider the roles of four New Testament figures. We will meet at 3 p.m. in the Craft Room at Grandview for one hour. Ray and Robin McFarland will lead these discussions. All are welcome.
