Elliot Ventimiglia has enjoyed music all his life, but Dixieland found a special place in his heart over the years. Attending college at Ottawa University, he majored in music education, and during that time he joined a brass band that sparked his love for Dixieland and allowed him to finally play both clarinet and sax in a jazz setting. He has continued playing with different Second Line and Dixieland Bands, as well as starting up his own band called the Funkhaus Brass Band.

Ken Levine started at a very young age watching his parents dancing to swing music, which started his love affair with swing dancing. When he picked up the trombone and started taking lessons, he was exposed to all styles of swing music, and was drawn to Dixieland because it is truly good ole’ dancing and party music! He eventually started his first Dixieland Band called "Chez’ Dixie" in 1995, and now is the co-leader/singer for The Funkhaus Brass Band based out of Phoenix Arizona.
