CROP WALK
"We walk because they walk"
Each year some 2,000 communities across the U.S. join in locally organized, interfaith CROP WALKS that help support the work of Church World Service both around the world and here at home. Some of the funds from each walk stay local for charities in town and the rest goes to help victims of disaster and help to feed the poor and hungry of our world. The walks are one to three miles. On March 9, 2008, Desert Palms members participated in the Sun Cities Crop Walk raising $2,104.00 of the total $5,503.55.
