TURKEY DAY IN REVIEW

The family of Desert Palms opened their hearts and pocketbooks on November 20 to help many less fortunate families have a truly “thanks giving” dinner. The Deacons collected 169 turkeys, a mound of non-perishable foods, and $3,317. This bounty was divided between the Agua Fria Food Bank and the Valley View Food Bank for distribution. The food banks were very grateful for the support of Desert Palms, and the Board of Deacons passes on their gratitude to all of the donors.
