Turkey Day Update from the Board of Deacons

On a beautiful Saturday morning, November 22, Desert Palms’ Board of Deacons collected $2,290 and 219 frozen turkeys along with non-perishable food items which were donated to the Agua Fria Food Bank and the Valley View Community Food Bank. 

To those of you who brought turkeys, money, and canned goods, your generosity gave many others a blessed Thanksgiving. A heartfelt thank you to those of you who contributed so generously and Board of Deacon members who furnished cookies and gave of their time to make this year’s Turkey Day an enormous success.
