Board of Deacons
Deacon Care Program (D.C.P);

 CARE Sunday

During the summer months, the Board of Deacons-sponsored agencies continue to have needs. As food supplies typically continue to dwindle during the summer months, agencies seek greater support.

Because of your care and concern for the less fortunate in our community and because of your generosity on Care Sunday (the first Sunday of the month) the Board has been able to help the agencies provide food, clothing, and other services directly related to caring for the needy.

This year the Board of Deacons support the following agencies: Agua Fria Food and Clothing Bank, Dysart Community Center, El Mirage Senior Center, Interfaith Community Care, New Life Center, Salvation Army, Valley View Community Food Bank, and Westside Food Bank Kids Café.

The Board thanks each of you for your continued support. Your donations help make life easier for the hungry, homeless, and helpless in our community.

NEW! DEACON CARE PROGRAM (D.C.P.)
 An exciting program was recently initiated called “Deacon Care Program (D.C.P.).” Jenny Ludwig has worked long and hard to place all members in a deacon district with each district being assigned to a responsible deacon.  Each deacon will bring a special care package to the homes of members in his or her district to remind each member of our desire to be with you both in your joys and in your concerns.  Should you need to go to the hospital or need some special attention, please do not hesitate to call your assigned deacon or the Church Office. Deacons will call to introduce themselves and bring to you, your special care package.
“The joy of the Lord is our strength.” (Neh 8:10)
Let us be a part of building one another up in the faith.  You will be hearing more from our Moderator, Larry Rens and Vice Moderator, Jenny Ludwig, during this coming year.
