Church Reopening & In-Person Worship
Church Office, Small Groups and In Person Church Worship to Begin

We believe it is time to slowly and carefully open our beautiful campus and return to    in-person activities and worship. Session has approved we open the church office with staff being present 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Church will be open for small group activities such as AA, Women’s Circles, committees who want to meet in person instead of by zoom and for celebration of life services (as examples).

When we open the church for small groups, the following rules must be observed: people must wear masks, not serve food or drink, maintain social distancing of six feet or more at all times and refrain from singing. The rooms will be cleaned once the meetings are finished. No one at any time should be made to feel compelled to participate in person-to-person activities of this nature. Groups should be limited to 25 participants and hold meetings in the largest open spaces in our church such as Fellowship Hall. If the number of cases of COVID-19 were to spike or deaths begin again to increase in our state, session will be prepared to reverse this decision.

A return to in-person worship will begin November 8 with one service at 9:30 a.m.
In-person worship will be spaced appropriately, use boxes for offerings, have no paper in the pews, require masks to be worn, have sanitizer available, have organized seating and limited singing. Ushers/Greeters will direct you. Participation will be by  pre-registration at the Church Office, by calling 623-584-4602, or through email on our Web page or emailing

In-Person Worship Guidelines

As we open the church for in-person worship, we have been made aware of recent incidences of COVID 19 in the Sun City West area. In an attempt to keep everyone healthy we will implement the following.

Everyone attending in person worship must make a reservation. Reservations are being taken through the church office for worship on November 8 & 15. We hope those who can live stream will continue to do so.

If you made a reservation and do not feel well on Sunday, please do not attend. If you feel even a bit sick or symptomatic please do not participate in in person events.

All worshippers must wear a mask at all times. Please secure your mask before you approachthe Sanctuary.

Angel Bees will have a table set up between the Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall with handmade masks and disposable masks for those who forget to bring one or would like one for future use at no charge.

No paper is being distributed. Please print the bulletin from home and bring it with you or be prepared to use the screens to follow the order of worship.

This Sunday will be a new process for Greeters and Ushers. Please kindly take directions from them.

Our traffic flow will attempt to provide for social distancing.

  • If you enter the door by the chapel, you will sit in section D.
  • Those entering through the narthex will sit in sections C and B.
  • Those entering by the FH will sit in section A.

For those with reservations, a greeter will be waiting for you at the door of your choice. Please provide him or her with your name so they may check your reservation.

The greeter will direct you to an usher who will seat you in a designated spot.

The sanctuary will be filled with worshipers from the front and emptied from the back to maintain social distancing. Pews are marked as to where to sit in order to keep proper distancing. Spouses and family members may sit together.

Since we are only using every other pew, walkers and wheel chairs will be kept with the worshipper. Please follow usher’s instructions.

At the conclusion of worship, please wait to be dismissed by an usher.

Offering boxes will be available at each entrance for you to place your offe ring envelopes or cash on your way out following services.

The Fellowship Hall is being remodeled and is not open.

Allow for appropriate distancing while standing or sitting usually thought to be six feet.

Wash hands or use sanitizers frequently.

Thank you for your cooperation!
