Jesus the Theologian: His Parables:

Dr. Kenneth Bailey is a well known and respected scholar of the New Testament and Middle Eastern culture. He is a Presbyterian minister and has lived 40 years in the Middle East. 

We will use his lecture videos to explore the parables of Jesus as a first century Middle Easterner might have understood them. 

Ray and Robin McFarland will facilitate this seven session series on Mondays at 3 p.m. at Grandview Terrace and Tuesdays at 11 a.m. in the Conference Room at the Church. Both sessions will be identical and will begin Monday, April 12 and Tuesday, April 13.

Do you harbor a secret desire to enter the Church Office building before 9 a.m. in the morning?

Participants in the Back Door Seminars will have this opportunity as Pastor David opens the back door to his office for morning coffee, doughnuts, and conversation each Thursday morning. Contemporary critical issues and their relationship to our faith will be identified, resourced if needed, and discussed. 

The first meeting will be Thursday, April 22, at 8 a.m. and will continue weekly until May 27.
